I was chatting with a friend who runs a small bakery, and she mentioned that people started finding her place through online directories she never even thought about before. It made me wonder about Whatcom Local — if putting business info there actually brings in more foot traffic. Has anyone here heard from local owners about whether it’s worth the time to keep all that stuff updated?

I’ve seen a few local shops list there, but not sure how much traffic they get. Sometimes these platforms help a lot at the start, but then drop off. Kinda like how redux js toolkit is great when your project grows big — visibility matters more when things scale.
